Please first look at my attached amateur attempt at this brief. As you can see from this I want an image that shows three groups communicating with each other.

The three groups are:
* smartphones - it's important to emphasize support for iOS and Android (even tho' this is usually a given these days).
* imaginary cloud service, i.e. not any real existing service.
* a low cost single board computer with wifi.

What's a single board computer? It's basically a complete computer on a single circuit board. And this is the area where you have the least artistic freedom. It must clearly be the Raspberry Pi Model A+ (not to be confused with the older Model A): http://www.raspberrypi.org/raspberry-pi-model-a-plus-on-sale/

Obvious problems I see with my amateur effort:

* The arrows could mean anything, they don't clearly say "communicating" to me.
* One phone has a shadow at the bottom edge.
* The logos on the clouds are of real existing services - they need to be replaced with icons not associated with current real companies.

Whether you draw the cloud services like I have or some completely different way I still want button style logos in there somewhere. I suspect coming up with logos that look convincing without being too similar to an existing service will be a pain. Feel free to choose anything you like the logos - a lion's head, a leaf, whatever.

If you decide to use e.g. a single generic smartphone image overlaid with both Android and Apple logos great, but if you go with real phone outlines, like I have, then please use the iPhone 6 (not the Plus) and the Nexus 6 (rather than e.g. the Samsung S5):

I've taken an image on the Raspberry Pi A+ and passed through http://vectormagic.com/ as I find mixing straight photos with line art etc. often looks odd. An alternative could be using a simplified clip art image of the A+ like this one: https://openclipart.org/detail/204397/raspberry-pi-a+-by-shame-204397

Generally I don't like the classic clipart look, but it's actually a popular established visual style due to its use in the Fritzing application, commonly used in the field I'm pitching at, for creating diagrams.

I know it's a mistake to over specify and constrain freedom of design. I hope I haven't done that - the must haves are the model A+ with wifi dongle and the button logos for some imaginary cloud services. I'm new to commissioning graphic work - I'm interested to hear if you feel I've priced too low (or too high) for this.

Currently the image from @camilozm is my favorite. See the comments I've left on his image and see if you (or he) can do even better :) Personally I favor a very slightly flatter look if that helps anyone looking to get in a design in what's now pretty much the last day. Note: a transparent or white background is desirable.

  Actually something very close to my attached example was what I was looking for, but with nicer arrows indicating "communication" and different logos on the clouds. The logos I've used belong to real companies - I want "nice" icons that are not tied to a real company.
