We are rebuilding this website: http://elizabethrichards.com.au/

We need a whole new design for Elizabeth Richards (ER). ER is a very well respected and trusted school supplies business in Australia. It has been around in Australia for over 20 years, and is widely known and trusted by teachers. ER sells to teachers at primary schools and high schools - with a number of different products to assist the teacher in their jobs at school.

For now we ONLY need a HOMEPAGE template for the new site. The site will be built on Shopify so it should work on this platform. Also it should be "responsive-ready" so the developer can make it work on many devices. We also want a section for blog posts on the homepage.

The site needs to be incredibly EASY TO USE! It is designed for teachers, most of whom know what they are looking for already, so SEARCH and CATEGORIES are super important. Almost all orders have many items-per-order, so a site that promotes multiple easy additions to the cart is needed. There should be no unnecessary confusion on the site, it must be streamlined and easy to use.

The winner will be given ANOTHER JOB to create the rest of the website (product, category, checkout pages etc) for $300.

  Here is another web page that has excellent functionality and is aimed at the same target market as ER but in the USA. http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/. Look and feel is not that exciting however the usability of the pages are excellent while remaining simple.
  
  I really like the tab along the top of their web page for searching via grade/age level. In fact all their tabs are very well done, simple but comprehensive. Ie category/grade age/sale/stores/resources.
  
  Once you select a grade it gives you many other great options for narrowing your search: Best sellers/price – low/price –high/top rates/ what's new. Then on the left you can narrow by teacher category /parent category/ or by price and the different areas underneath: science/arts&crafts/mathematics/ etc etc. A lot of options but well laid out and easy to see.
