Contest Brief

I am looking for a fresh new logo and letterhead/website banner for a non-profit organization.

The organization is names the Monroe-Livingston Regional Emergency Medical Services Council, or MLREMS for short. This organization represents Monroe and Livingston County, NY, for the New York State Department of Health and oversees provisions of Emergency Medical Services. The primary focus of this organization is providing oversight to Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics who work in the field providing emergency care.

The logo needs to be in a vector format.
Logos can use "MLREMS" or "Monroe-Livingston Regional EMS Council" for text.
The letterhead/website banner should be of a standard size.
Logo should be sharp, modern, and catchy.
Typical EMS colors are navy or royal blue, but I'm open to new colors, preferably on the lighter side of the spectrum.
The EMS "star of life" logo is attached as a reference as well as the current logo, an EKG, and generic medical logo just for inspiration.
