I'm a game developer and I publish makeover games on Android e.g. these apps https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Fashion+Games+for+Girls.

Currently I'm looking for female artists with high interest in fashion to illustrate new makeover games.
To pick the artists I'd like, I'm running this contest where I'll pick as winners all contestants whom I'd like to hire for a full illustration project later.

You need to make 1 picture with a doll similar to those in the linked games, dressed in some glam or teenager clothes, with 1 background (either school-themed or glam-themed).

The graphics style should be similar to that in this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamesforgirlsfree.superstarcareer

What matters to have a chance of winning:
- the clothes should be fashionable and show that you have genuine interest in fashion (likely are a fashionista yourself)
- general drawing skill
- "technical level" of the picture

- I know the artist personally, she is a fashionista and enjoys drawing and researching clothes
- she has higher education as an artist
- she has years of experience with both vector and raster computer graphics editors (primarily Adobe Illustrator)

I want to find more people like her for long-term cooperation and repeated contracts.

Your submitted picture must be unique and specifically drawn for this contest. You can't re-use or copy work of others.

      This style was extensively tested in dozens of applications already, and I need something as close as possible to that. As far as I understand, it's a combination of good taste in modern fashion + technical excellency with Adobe Illustrator. Though I personally don't mind which tools you use: Illustrator, Photoshop, even Gimp.. I don't care because in the end I'll just insert PNG pictures of clothes inside the game. The question is: can you draw in that style?

      Thx yes, your #22 is generally what can be used in a dress up game. Though, with my experience of publishing some 100+ such games I'd say the graphics somewhat lack detail to work well for mobile. #22 would work great in a Flash/HTML5 game where it's vital to have fast download times. But on mobile, and especially if it's a game on Unity (which itself weighs 10MB) players expect higher-detail graphics.

      you mean game artist (because game designers don't draw, they define game's mechanics)? I actually don't care.. but I guess that someone who simply works in fashion wouldn't know Adobe Illustrator(?). Just please check the provided example games to see what I need

    Just to clarify: since it's a contest where I just want to see your skills and not get some deliverable, I won't give feedback on "what needs to be changed in the picture". Also any unfinished work I'll evaluate as it is because I can only decide based on a finished picture. Please give your picture your maximal effort and draw the best you can to maximize your chances.. I've provided the example of the needed style, so there is probably also no use to submit several pictures as experiments. I really don't need any other style rather than the one I've given as an example, so it's just wasted effort to draw something in a completely different way. Thanks and I really hope someone can draw like the artist I'm already hiring.
