12/6/22 UPDATE: apparently people are ignoring my request for logos to be presented on a white background without wonky angles. We are going to begin rejecting submissions that are not presented as a flat image on a white background. Thanks for all of your submissions. We look forward to selecting our new logo next week.

We are looking for a talented, creative person to develop a corporate brand including a business logo, font selections, and signage for a coin laundromat as well as laundromat pickup & delivery service. This initial project will be for the logo design with signage & business collateral opportunities to follow.

While the logo can be large & involved, there needs to be at least one version of the logo suitable for small scale use, such as on a business card or as a social media icon. We will ultimately need images that can be used in print collateral, internet website & social media presences, & physical signage.

The name of the Laundromat is "Tie-Dye Laundry" so the designs should be COLORFUL & BRIGHT. Since not everyone has the same idea of what great tie-dye looks like, I have attached an image with two examples of what we like, along with one that we are not so fond of.

Feel free to ask questions if you need clarification on anything.

UPDATE 12/5/22: Please make the word Laundry at least 75% or more of the size of the word Tie-Dye. Some otherwise very creative designs have the word Laundry so small it would not easily convey to the consumer what Tie-Dye is offering. Additionally, while I appreciate the technology that allows you to make your logo look like a sign on the side of a building, at this stage of the process, please only submit flat images on a white background. It is too difficult to evaluate submissions presented on so many angles & backgrounds. Thanks!!
