A poster for a medical conference.

I will presenting an abstract at a conference. The conference will also have an exhibition part. We are participating on a stand. The aim is to attract for a discussion with the hopes of, either;

i) potentially finding someone with experience / knowledge of the topic
ii) Finding fellow researchers that is interested in collaborate on the topic of the abstract

We have already made a poster, using our standard "graphics". The poster is attached and the content is the actual content for the poster. The graphics are perfectly fine, but our hope was that a professional could give the poster a bit more eye catching, increasing the amount of attention we recieve.

Although I am writing eye-catching here - I should make it clear that we are not looking for something very out of the box. At the end of the day we are at an academic confeence and it is important to keep within the confines of the conservative design used within academics to preserve the air of legitimacy / sincerity. And just to state the obivous; Legibility is the most imporatnt part :)

One giant remark you should notice: We are researchers working on a goverment pay. So we cannot afford to use a professional each time some minor change will have to be made. I will therefore have to require that the new design be made in the same format as the original one: Power point. I know that this is unconventinal and probably a turn off for many. I apologize for this!

The poster will be printed on site, at the conference. The poster dimension is 90 cm width and 140 cm height, portrait orientation. Resolution should be 300 dpi. The poster will be printed through a service called call4posters. Call4Posters has some guidelines with respect to font size for readability.

Need date for final design is close: the finished version 09:00 GMT +2 , 5th of april
