I am looking for a personal branded business card. The feel is meant to be simple, classy, edgy, and clean. It will be printed on a higher quality, matte stock. I am open to additional design ideas such as raised printing, round edges, etc.

About: Card is for a expert on human/team performance in the sports/military realm. Specializing in awareness and cognition (the things that guide action). He is an Entrepreneur, Speaker, International Best-Selling Author. The target market is professional sports organizations/military/tactical and should reflect professionalism.

Colour scheme is open, just keep in mind the professional feel (nothing cartoonish, young, bubbly, feminine, soft)
Included some business card images of style/feel that he likes
Feedback will be given daily (on weekdays)
Points go to creativity/uniqueness.
Giving a higher rating does not mean that we want more of the same design. We will not award a winner who copies elements of other designers submissions.
We will own all rights to the winning design to the cards to use for any/all purposes we see fit.
By submitting a design, the freelancer agrees that it is their own work and not infringing copyright on any existing designs (to the best of their knowledge).
Contest winner will give files in .psd, .jpg, .png, .tif, as well as any fonts used.

We are open to answering questions and will check in often.
We will need more work done in the future and there may be an opportunity for more dedicated projects.

PLEASE READ: Thank you all for the submissions. I will not be checking back for another 72 hours. Here are a few updates: 1) I do not want repetition on the same side of the card. eg. If Leigh Sembaluk is written on one side, do not include it again on the same side. 2) On the back of the card, do not include website. 3) Make sure that the image of the card has both a front and back and that they can both be clearly seen. 4) please do not post on the board saying to look at new submissions. One more thing. If the name "Leigh Sembaluk" is on the back (the side without telephone, etc), then please do not include the website on that same side as it seems redundant due to the URL being sembaluk.com

Thank you all for the submissions so far. Here's a few points for everyone as much of the feedback is the same and can be clarified in a few points: Good: 1) Some nice creativity with some logos. 2) Some very classy, professional looking cards.. Things to stay away from: 1) The same look on both the front and back. By this I mean, if the Name is large and centered on the front, make sure it does not appear large and centered on the back. If one side is busy, keep the other side simple and clean. 2) Do not have the name printed twice on the same side. A logo and name is okay on the same side unless the logo has the name as part of it. 3) Stay away from cards which only display one market (military for example doesn't allow people to know I do sport as well, or vice versa).   I do not have an existing logo. I am leaving it up to the designer if they want to do a monogram style or logo that they feel represents what I said. Look forward to your submission.
