Hello Dear Designers.

We plan to make the first prototype of a Desk Lamp which is a little different form regular lamps. It looks like extrusion of a 2 Dimensional Tree . We need a 3D design of it for presentation and prototype build. The 2D approximate design of the lamp is attached (Sketch1.PNG) . As you can see each curved branch is surrounded by a circle. There is no difference in material of the curved branch and the circle. So no need to have two section, but the pattern on top is important. The pattern will be printed later on. In principle, the 3D model can be an extruded 2D version by 3cm, which is mounted on a block of wood.
"3D.PNG" shows how the top part approximately will look like.
"Base.JPG" shows how the top part is mounted in a center of a wood block. We call the big
"Fruit.JPG" shows one of the extruded circles with curved pattern on it.

About the sizes:
Big Fruits (circles) = 10cm diameter
Small Fruits =7cm. ==> smaller in the picture
Width of the top part (T) ==> 3cm.
Wood block size= 15 X 9.3 X 3cm. The tree is going to be located in the center.

You are free to modify the details of the current 2D design. For example making the curves more perfect. Estimated length of the tree (without the block) is about 35cm.

A memorable prize:
As a thank you for your time and effort, we decided to Etch the name of the designer (whoever win this contest) on the bottom of the wood block (for all products). And if this design (including modifications) goes for manufacturing, we would happily send the winner one of them.

Material colors:
Front of the device is white semi glossy surface.
The branches color are light brownish (Similar to the bottom wood block)
Back of the device has the same pattern as the front.
On the sides it is also white (Matte).

    Hi, I'm working on it. I have only a question. Is it completely free to change 2D design? For example; number of fruits or branches? Shape of braches? Branch and fruit connection detail?

      Yes, but it should provide a nice look.
      Going with the same 2D design is a safe choice, but if you have a better idea go for it.
