콘테스트 개요

write 5 texts with approximately 150-250 words. Each text can be an article, story, e-mail, conversation or review. The texts are aimed at children aged 11. The language, tone, content, and structure must be developed with that in mind. at least 90% of the vocabulary used to write the texts should be included in the following list.

Each of the 5 texts MUST also include at least 6 topic words/expressions. Topic words/expressions:
Shopping: Advertisement, assistant, basket, department store, for sale, on sale, shop assistant, until, various.
Fashion: blouse, case, chain, costume, dress up, earring, get rid of, in case, in fashion, put on, suit, try on.
Family: act, adult, around, grandad, granny, noon, pickup, silly, take care of, teenager, twin.
Travel: cathedral, finally, guide, guidebook, luggage, passport, prince, princess, useful, usual.
Sport: against, at the same time, brave, exercise, indoor, indoors, outdoor, practice, practise.

So the topic of your texts should be relevant to the topic of the topic words/expressions. There are 5 topic words/expression categories so each text must be relevant to that topic. You must write one text per topic. If the topic is Travel you can write an email to a friend describing a recent trip, a travel guide, a conversation between a tourist and a local, local cuisine of someplace etc.
I suggest you first confirm with me the type of text you will write (article, story, e-mail, conversation or review), the topic and a brief summary of what you will write. This way we ensure meeting the requirements. I have uploaded some examples which are good so that you can get an idea of what we need to do.

    Also, wouldn't the conversation be kind of the same format as a story? Or do you want it in a different way for instance. 'Person 1: Hello, Person 2: How are you'

    Saw this contest yesterday and thought it'd be interesting to give it a try! I'll submit my five articles on the same document, within today and tomorrow. For the topics, I picked an e-mail for the travel one, shopping will be an article, fashion will be a review, sports will be a story and family will be formatted as a conversation.

      yes, you can repeat the same type once. Do not use the same type more than twice though.

    It doesn't even make sense. How 150-250 text can include 90% of hundreds and hundreds ofdictionnary entrees you provide in the document?
