Hello, i need help to install Intel Media Server (IMS) 2017 or 2017R2 on my local Server Ubuntu 14 or 16 to transcode video files with Intel Quick Sync Video (QSV) + FFMpeg . CPU is i7 6700K with QSV Support. Now I can install and run the "Gold" Setup from intel, but only in CentOS. But I need Ubuntu 14 or 16. I try to install with the Generic Setup from Intel for Ubunut. But I can not install it on Ubunut ([login to view URL]). Milestones: 1. Install Intel Media Server 2017 or 2017R1 on my Server. Run vainfo and [login to view URL] without error to complete this milestone. Provide detailed and complete documentation / How To rebuild 2. Compile FFMpeg with h264_qsv codec, and transcode/encode video files without error. QSV ffmpeg test wget [login to view URL] ffmpeg -i [login to view URL] -vcodec h264_qsv [login to view URL] I need a guy they have experience.
