When an organization calls an individual the individual can request a verified caller Id or VCID. The organization sends a VCID to the individual via WebPicID Secure Message. This generates a Secure Message to the party1 and party2 the recipient from WebPicID VCID@wpid.ca. WebPicID sends a challenge word to both parties by Secure Message. The Secure Message looks like this: From VCID@[login to view URL] To Party 1 To Party 2 The Challenge word is “apple” Party 1 XYZ corporate Address City, State/Province ZIP/PostalCode Contact Number First Name of caller Internal ID-Code To Party 2 This is provided by Party 1 First Name Last Name Phone number contacted at City, State/Province ZIP/PostalCode Party 2 receives the above Secure Message from WebPicID Once the Message is opened Party 1 is notified. Party 1 then calls the Party 2 and offers the challenge word , The challenge word verifies their identity is verified by WebPicID The call can continue where it is verified as not a not a fraud call. The identity of Party 2 is for Party 1 to used due diligence to verify.
