Hi, I'm looking to create an android app that consists of 2 parts. This app is a proof of concept so my main concern is for this to work, not for it to look cosmetically like a final product. You have complete artistic freedom with theme, widgets, etc in this first round. If the chosen developer provides a great app he will be asked to continue working in the next iterations of the app!. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PART 1: The first activity (screen) inside the app will be an empty screen with a clock showing the current time and 3 apps inside that work inside this environment. (please see image number 1). These 3 apps are an SMS, Call and Gallery apps. They can be as simple as needed, I just need them to be able to: -call, -text (with the ability to text using swipe) -see pictures (with zooming function) respectively INSIDE the app, not take you to an external one. It must also be able to request access to contacts, gallery, etc as needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WHEN CONTACTING ME PLEASE START THE MESSAGE BY SAYING "HELLO 1234" (this is to avoid spammers) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part 2: This app must be controlled by a set of gestures from an Arduino (or similar, open to suggestions) setup. The setup must consist of one element in the thumb and one element in the index finger IN EACH HAND, and it must also be bluetooth connected. For example, it can be an IMU for the index finger and an IMU for the thumb, It can be an IMU for the Index and a pressure sensor for the thumb. I will leave this completely to whatever you think works best. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The final product must be able to track 2 mouse-like dots on the screen that represent each index finger and perform the following gestures: (Please see image 2) (R = right, L= left, I = index, T = Thumb) - Tap (replacement for screen tap): by pressing RI+RT OR LI+LT - Long Tap (replacement for tap and hold): by pressing RI+RT OR LI+LT and holding - Zoom (for gallery app): Tap and hold RI+RT AND LI+LT AND move away or near ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please let me know if there's anything I can clarify. HELLO 1234 Hello, I have read your Description very carefully. Here is what I am planning to do : Part1: I will be using Cordova to build the app which wraps the app inside a container. I will use the following plugins to accomplish the tasks required. -Calls: [login to view URL] -texting: [login to view URL] -Gallery: I will code it on my own, it will be accessible from inside the app. You can check that each one of the plugins will not take you to another app to make the phone call or send an SMS, I understand that it's crucial that the app does not rely on other apps. Part2: The IMU is the most reliable sensor for tracking motion in the market, so I will use that for tracking the index finger. for detecting the thumb finger's press button I will be using a touch sensor which is integrated into the board I am planning to use which is the ESP32, it has integrated BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) it doesn't consume much energy, communication is very reliable, and has a range of 100m. I can send you some schematics in PM to describe my approach better. Background: -I am vice-champion in an international robotics competition called Eurobot. -I have many projects accomplished perfectly on freelancer.com which consisted of connecting Apps to Hardware, through BLE and other means. -I am an Electronics Engineer/App developer and will accomplish this job perfectly.
