NEED TO ACCOUNTING APP FOR ANDROID AND IOS PLATFORMS

This document provides some in-detail Information regarding the project. As mentioned in the high level requirements, projects aim for any user to maintain his accounting book. As mentioned in the requirements, we are breaking down the requirements further to learn more about how the project will be implemented. Project is to be implemented for android and iOS users. This means the application to be designed in two different platforms 1) Android Based 2) iOS Based Android Based Application workflow ●Any android user can go to play store and download the application ●Once user download the application, he should be asked to register himself by providing E-mail address / Phone number ●After sign in, user should be asked to provide the default currency used for the transaction○Multiple currency option available such as INR, Euro, Pounds, USD Manage account page○ -User can create any account (for say expense a/c’s, income a/c’s, supplier a/c’s etc)○ Information for edit / create account a)Name of account b)Description of account c)Opening balance (If applicable) Transaction page a)Cr A/C selection (List of drop down from the accounts created) b)Dr A/c selection (List of drop down from the accounts created) c)Amount of transaction d)Description of the transaction e)Date Data storage information a)Can All data or transactions performed by the user be saved in the local database or server based DB? .○ b)If it can be done on local device,what permissions Are required Password protected○ a)User should be able enable password protection for the application b)Password protection will be specific to this application, where user has to enter the password to view / edit / create any transaction c)Ability to reset the password any time Reports○ a)Ledger A/C--Ledger information for each account created by the user○ b)Cash book report--Daily cash book entries report Printing / Exporting option a)User should be given change to select the output of report to printed or export it into pdf, or excel Logout a)Until user logout, user should only be prompted to provide passcode for the application○ b)Once user logout, user has to login using username / phone number and a password set by admin / super admin iOS Based Application a)ALL SIMILAR FUNCTIONALITIES MENTIONED IN ANDROID BASED b)Developer has to make sure that regarding developing of the application in the iOS, should follow all the standards mentioned in the apple terms & conditions as “Apple” is very tough in their terms & conditions this is the link for a similar app ...please go through the same for details...
