Climate change research project

Researchers / writers required to search for notable published articles / papers on one of the following points / questions, and provide brief summary of each article, and reference all material (author, date, publisher) Note: All work including research and writing to be undertaken with a non bias view regarding climate change, and be fact based, and should represent either side of the climate change debate if supported by evidence. • Who are the beneficiaries of and the investors in the climate change belief? – research who benefits from societies believe in climate change and the reduction of carbon as a mitigation to climate change. e.g. beneficiaries are climate scientist, universities, accountancy firms, legal firms, renewable energy sector, etc list and research estimated value of financial benefits received for each category. • What are the cost estimates of mitigation? – research and report on the reported dollar cost estimates to society of climate change mitigation • Are the changes in temperature normal variances over history? – is the change out of the normal in the history of earth? - research and report on past average temperatures, record cold and hot temperatures, and snow falls, provide graphs of average temperatures as far back as recorded, • Has there been any environmental damage and or benefits to the environment attributed to climate change? – research and identify articles stating damage or benefits that occurred to the environment as a result of temperature change and comment on whether they are evidence-based or not • Has the predictions been correct? – research the predictions made over the last fifty years regarding the environmental damage or changes that would result from climate change, and analyse if they became true or not. The best applicants will be selected to research and write on their selected topic, and out of those submissions the candidates with the best submissions will be chosen for ongoing work on the project.
