Looking for an experienced, self-starting community manager who doesn't need their hand held, but knows how to have fun and enjoy their work. Need help on two brands. Most creative assets (images, videos) will be provided in advance, some will be provided and need to be uploaded in real-time. Strong writers will be given priority consideration. Job includes: - Learn brand strategy and content categories for two brands in order to understand brand voice, content categories, key dates/events, etc. - Monthly content calendars for two brands, for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn (there is some duplication of content across channels). This means creating and managing a Google doc broken out by channel, with post times, channels, links to images/videos that will be posted, etc. You will also need to write all post copy. This also includes being able to create/post Instagram stories at agreed to times, or occasionally in real-time. - Schedule all content to channels as agreed to. Manage all inquiries/comments in a timely manner. Route customer questions to client teams for their response, or inquire to find out answers to customer questions that you can deliver on your own. - Big focus on Instagram and an emphasis on organic community growth. Big upside if you have experience growing organic audiences on this channel. Will also be expected to proactively engage with users who align with our brands to draw in new followers/prospects. - Ability to do minimal graphic design work is a plus. Will also have to create Instagram stories and have an aesthetic eye for look and feel that aligns with the brands. If this is you, please reach out!

Firstly, I am a UK citizen, currently living in Thailand (can work flexibly to your schedule) and working with clients all over the world in different time zones. For me, its about a better work/life balance and also i'm quite new to freelancer but have many years experience in the space. On my experience, i've been working in online marketing for over 17 years, and in social media since 2006. I have created content calendars like the ones you mention before and activated them across multiple platforms and even in different languages before. So this is no problem for me, exactly the type of work i'm looking for. I would approach this over 2 phases, one the research phase, getting to know the brands you have and the competitors so I am familiar with the type of content being activated in this niche, what works, what is success, what type of goals can be achieved etc. The second stage is activating the content and optimising the posts so that each post has the most opportunity for success. Hi there, I’m a social media community manager who loves working on different brands. I work in social media for the love of it because it's fun and I know there is more to social media than status updates and selfies. I learn quickly and adapt to any situation. I work well on my own and within a team. I have escalation process down to a t, and understand that this differs from brand to brand. I have worked on brands such as Ford, Samsung and Vodacom. I have native language proficiency in both British and American English. I love the communities I work on and engaging with them daily. Customer service is my forte and I have been doing it long before social media became a job. Instagram and Twitter are my favourite platforms because you can do so much and there is a lot of room to experiment and try new techniques. It is easier to adapt to new developments in social media on these two platforms. I love to write and can pretty much write anything, with enough research. I can write both long-form and short-form. I can write blogposts, articles, etc. I work a lot with Google Docs and know how to put together monthly and weekly calendars. Are there any specific tools you like to use for these accounts?
