Purpose: To design and engineer a carrier which allows a standard forklift to carry eight ~10”x~10” devices (four on each side) as the forklift drives. This project will be broken up into 2 milestones: 1. General concept design proposal: This step is to demonstrate how you approach the problem and how you propose to create a solution. You do not need to create specific designs but instead just demonstrate some ideas to show your thought process. I want to make sure I’m working with the right engineer and to be confident in your solution. 2. Detailed engineering drawings and bill of materials: Once I have approved/selected your proposed design from #1 above, the next step is for you to prepare the detailed mechanical drawings and complete bill of materials. ▪ IMPORTANT: All materials must be available from either [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] ▪ When you prepare the bill of materials, you should reference each part from one of these sites with a link. ▪ Your engineering drawing must reference each part within the drawing to clearly show how to assemble the design you have engineered
