I would like to hire an Architect

I would like help with the design of a porch/room we would like to build at a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The existing deck is 8 feet wide and faces west toward an attractive layered view. Because of the terrain and trees, the view gets better the farther north and west that we can expand the deck. So we are planning to build a screened porch that is 14X24 with the 14 foot wide dimension along the existing deck, so the room will extend 24 feet west from the edge of the existing deck. On the south and west walls, I would like to use EZ Screen or one of their competitors. These are quadruple hung windows with 10 mil vinyl windows. This way the room can be enclosed or 75% of the wall can be only screened. Following is a link to a collection of porches I found on Houzz that I find attractive. Railing is required. My preference would be to use cable rails with a ¾” black pipe as the top rail. Cost is a factor so we may go with rebar stiles instead of cables. I am open to other suggestions. If you know of an affordable cable solution, please let me know. The photo with the EZ Screens has the rails inside the screen and the windows only go the top of the rail. I would like to go all the way to the floor or close to it. Since the windows tilt in for cleaning, I believe that the rails will have to be outside the windows. I have not figured out how to do that aesthetically. There is no view to the north. I am planning on that wall being solid with ~3X5 extension for a wood stove. I would also put the TV and sound system on this wall. It is very difficult to get to where you can see the outside of the north wall so I am thinking about vinyl siding for the outside. The cabin has 1x6 pine interior walls so we may copy that here. To resist the north south wind load, I believe that the corner posts need to be steel and extend to the roof. I will ask for the contractors to provide two alternate prices. One to provide a 14X10 extension that will not be screened at the end of the deck. The other alternate would be to provide an 18 x10 extension and a 4X24 walkway along the west wall. This would provide an “outside” access to the deck at the end. It would also take the rails out/off of the west wall. Since the end of the extension would be close to or possibly over 30 feet off the ground, the cost of the extension may be prohibitive.
