I need an algorithm to calculate the plastic section modulus in both the x and y axes of a group of polygons of known geometry. The shape will always be a circle or polygon with notches removed, and can have multiple forms as shown in the attached Word Document. The code needs to be able to account for all of them. It's preferable that the final solution is in Visual Basic, but I will also accept C#.
