Hello, I need to ask some qustions: 1. what bluetooth series you are using? 2. the bluetooth apps for both host/gues(person) side are programmed by your company, or the person side should be another public company such as bluetooth on the phone? 3. If the question #2 is programmed all by your company then we could modify your bluetooth apps? 4. I see at least 2 options: using only BLE at cost of lower accuracy or adding additional hardware but having precise and robust solution 1. (BLE only)You don't need to maintain a connection. Modern phones can act as beacons advertising their presence. This is more robust because connection requires much higher SNR to work. 2. (additional hardware) There are dedicated solutions for people counting/tracking. I have experience working with such solution from TI based on microwave radar.
