A small windows service that will periodically connect to Exchange server 2010, extract details of booked meetings from the shared calendars of nominated resource mailboxes, format data as JSON and post to a designated internet URL. A settings xml file should allow for specifying: 1. The exchange server to connect to 2. User credentials for the above connection 3. IDs for the target resource calendar 4. Data fields to retrieve from each booking 5. Timespan of meetings to retrieve i.e. (Now - 24 hours) to (Now + 100 hours) 6. target URL 7. Period of each iteration This needs to work on systems without Outlook installed e.g. a server, and as a system service without a user logged on. Direct access to Exchange preferred as EWS not always available, if an option to have either access is available, even better. This is part of a step up in learning, so source code must be provided. Preferred language is C#, but open to other solutions

use ews managed sdk so you could connect to exchange server independently without outlook. also can be wrapped under a windows service app i will write in c# for you.

I can create a Powershell script to retrieve the details using EWS. Powershell language is simple and easy to understand. This can be scheduled under scheduled tasks and can run without human intervention.
