ABOUT US: We are a growing Social Network Type Site Based in Bangalore Serving the United States primarlily. We have high traffic volume and our goal is a solution that scales and RUNS FAST! We run many, mini networks copies of our site using curl calls (not optimal) that are different based on keywords for oganic search. One particular site is our primary focus but we have 100 others running off same server and mysql.
We are having a high level of difficulty obtaining REASONABLE SPEEDS or people with the level of experience to properly sort the speed issues or give us REAL ADVICE that we can trust. We are open to whatever must be rewritten but we need to hear why if that is the case. We don't think that is necc. We do think an expert is neccessary though. Our site is a bit complicated because its all coded to be part of a network and tied to a single admin that is also custom coded with no documentation.
We have been through many programmers and keep getting told speed is fixed. Then after a few weeks speed is back to terrible again and with each improvement a programmer makes 3 things seem to break. It has been a two year quagmire costing us lots of money.
With larger companies we end up spending far too much for same bad outcomes....and communication between their "Project Managers" and the programmers ends up putting us on wrong path time after time. This is why we prefer 1 expert actual programmer who we communicate directly with and will work for us alone and normal hours. Someone settled who wants a stable long term opportunity would be great.
We can pay one programmer quite good who REALLY knows what they are doing and is 100% reliable. We are looking for a long term programmer who wants to grow in a great career path with us.
There is massive growth possible in income after we get over this hump.
WE ARE OPEN TO WHATEVER WE NEED TO DO TO GET A FAST LOAD TIME. Our sites are 100% custom and have no documentation using codeigniter.
1. WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN A TEAM
2. WE ONLY WANT A PROGRAMMER DIRECT - 1 PERSON WHO WILL WORK FULL TIME ON OUR WEBSITE NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS 9am-5pm IST Everyday.

4. Normal Indian Holidays Off (or negotiable if based in aother country)
5. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH AMAZON HOSTING AND AMAZON IMAGE HANDLING SOFTWARE and know JS as well.
6. Most CRITICAL you must be a CODE IGNITER EXPERT AND WRITE CLEAN SHORT CODE AND NOT BE INTIMIDATED TO WORK ON OLD CODE AND REWRITE IS AS NECC! As well as document it even if you have not written it.
7. You must know how to create API's.
8. YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE NEEDS OF A SCALEABLE SITE VS A SITE A FEW THOUSANDS PEOPLE A DAY VISIT. Our goals are tens of thousands of concurrrent users. We get about 1000 concurrent now during peak times. Please see attached Google page speed insights images.
We are open to a flat fee project but really we prefer a full time programmer somewhere in the range of 1,200 - $1,500 monthly open to more doe. Also open to a flat fee defined project. PLEASE NO LARGE COMPANIES.
