What We're Looking For: We're an awesome new startup looking to ramp up on social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, you named it!) for our new travel and finance/banking websites. Our travel site will primarily be focused on destinations on the Viking World Cruise, while our finance sites cover relevant topics in the industry. We’re looking for a social media manager with a can-do attitude to help us oversee all of our accounts, as well as comment regularly on our WordPress websites. Candidates must provide examples of past accounts they’ve managed and posts (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) they’ve personally written in order to be considered. Responsibilities: - Write + schedule regular social media posts for our travel/banking website content. - Monitor and respond to comments on our sites via WordPress. - Posts and responses to comments must be written in US English and must be completed on time according to our set schedule. Qualifications: - 2+ years of professional social media experience (personal accounts are not considered) - Knowledge of Hootsuite or similar scheduling tool required - Basic understanding of WordPress - Blog/content writing experience is preferred - Understanding of current social media strategies and campaigns - Bachelor’s degree (points if your degree is in English, Communications or related field, but not necessary) - MUST be native US English speaker We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our dedicated, fun-loving team.
