Our company manages a 19-unit fraternity house at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) each summer. From January through April, tenants contact us via email after seeing our website or online advertisements. Typically, 300 tenants email us to apply for the 35 to 40 summer spots at the house (on average, there are 2 tenants per unit). For tenants who sign a lease and pay their deposit, the average conversation involves 5-10 emails on our end. We’re looking for someone to take care of tenant communications for the business – your responsibilities would be to respond to new leads, answer questions they have, send out blank leases, collect signed leases, and do your best to fill every room for the summer. The job takes up no more than 60 minutes per day and will last from the date of hire through April. Applicants must be excellent at communicating via the written word in English. Applicants must work 5-6 hours per week.
