Hi there Excel and Word Power Users! I would like to have someone write me a macro that I can use in Excel. See the two files attached. Users will fill out the Excel Template. They will enter in the Value and Headers Columns. They can enter up to 26 row in a single File Number. There can be up to 10 File Numbers. On a button push from Excel, the data in the Green and Yellow cells will be copies to the Word document. The File Number (Red Highlight with White Letter) and the Value and Header Number (Dark Green with White Letter) will be updated for each entry. Note, the Syntax in the Word document is very important. For example, it must be: File_#_Headers(#) = "..." File_#_Values(#) = $... If it is: File_#_Headers(#)="..." File_#_Values(#)=$... Then it won't work. The syntax needs to be exactly what is in the word document. I would prefer if the cell was empty in Excel, that I wouldn't have that entry in Word. However, if that is too hard, I can always just delete the unused cells. Only serious responses please. Please include "Water is wet" in your response so I know you have read this far in the message. I have reviewed the 2 attachments and I can come up with a macro for your requirement (including "I would prefer if the cell was empty in Excel, that I wouldn't have that entry in Word. " - so you do not have to manually delete the cells. Being a full time freelancer working exclusively on Excel based projects, I work on such Excel based tasks every single day. Hi there, it's an interesting project. It can be done with a macro in Excel (VBA) using a button that can be placed in the ribbon of the Excel application or in the spreadsheet. Once clicked it will create a new Word document with the required data. I can work on it today and I can send you a first version of this macro where you can test it. In case you have any feedback/comment about the macro delivered it can be applied in the macro.

I have extensive experience in writing VBA code within the full Microsoft Office suite. I will be able to write you this Macro within the day. I completely understand your logic and have examined the files. You will just need to tell me what naming convention you want to use for the Word document, and whether you want a new document to be created each time, or to overwrite the same file each time the code is run.
