This job requires cleaning-up and updating all the entries in an existing .bib file, finding duplicates, resolving duplicate keys, checking integrity, links to PDFs, etc., as well as renaming the PDFs when and if applicable. Then, add ~300 new PDFs and respective entries. Most are articles but there are also books.
You can use whatever tool you feel comfortable with, from just a simple text editor and a web browser, to something fancier like JabRef, Emacs, etc. I will provide the existing .bib and the PDF files.
The deliverable should be a .bib file and a single folder with all PDFs properly treated and linked to their respective entries. Linked here means that all and every PDF needs to have a tag in the respective entry/reference, like this: "file = {:[login to view URL]:PDF},".
The references need to be consistent (meaning that tags have all the same order. For instance, author, than title, publisher, year, editor, etc.) and ordered alphabetically (by author and year).
