Junior Estimator for interior fit-out projects - training provided

We are looking for a Junior Fit-Out Estimator to help bring high-end projects to life. We’ve worked with clients on some iconic builds in the UK, USA, and Europe. We will provide the required training but are looking primarily for someone with some TECHNICAL experience and PROBLEM-SOLVING skills. Previous estimation experience is not required.
The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and analyse lots of information and use common sense and creativity to provide solutions. We are looking for some experience in problem-solving in a technical or design environment and the ability to work autonomously.
We are open to speaking with candidates from technical industries outside of construction such as product design or engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Analysis and organisation of detailed drawing packs
• Annotating technical drawings
• Generating bill of quantities
• Identification of key information within vast amounts of construction project data and clarification of unknowns
• Presenting technical information in a concise and easy-to-understand format for both clients and suppliers using Bluebeam Revu and Excel
Qualifications:
• Work Experience or education in a technical or Engineering field: Construction, Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Product Design
• Familiarity with technical drawings and specifications is an advantage
• Comfortable using Excel equations e.g. SUMIF, XLOOKUP, FILTER etc. We suggest you practice these before interviewing with us.
• Good written English for communications with internal team, clients and suppliers
Availability / Working Hours:
• Initial trial period, hours may vary. After trial: 160h per month
• We are on UK time so you will need to overlap with us for around 4h per day.
