image caching and save data to local storage

i have images and pdf files that are displayed in collection view. when user press on any of the images the pdf file will open. all the data are saved on firebase storage. the problem is the data gets downloaded every single time. what i wanna do is all the images will be downloaded and saved in cache and when the user press on image 1 for example pdf 1 will be downloaded in local storage and can be viewed anytime if there isn't internet connection. i have attached a picture which shows something similar to what i wanna do.
