Dear Thomas, I would like to apply for this project because I feel it fits my experience very well. While I am new to Freelancer, I have real world experience in the field of watch design. I have worked with a number of clients in Geneva and Paris and gained valuable know-how on how to prepare designs and in many cases even prepare the watches for production. Please note I am not a watch engineer, but I can create both the 2D designs and the 3D modelling to explore and refine the case and dial depth. Also I can utilise the movement technical data to create dials and cases that fit. Generally my method is to do a small research followed by 5-6 different concept sketches from which the client picks a favourite. Next stage is to start an accurate illustration and refine this idea. Once the client confirms all details it would conclude the work, but I would still be available for advice and help with the manufacturer. I am able to continue the work in 3D solidworks also if you wish, I can make an offer for the 3d modelling and rendering seperately.
