Audiobook editing

Hello, my name is Mauro Kenji and, as Audio Editor & Engineer, I could help you out with your audiobook. I have a great experience in the field (+5 years), as I work with audiobooks producers but also voiceover & dialgues artists, podcast & radio shows; all vocals based projects. Generally I work following this procedure : - I download the raw files; - I set up the session with my templates and I start the listening-editing process, that consists in removing long pauses, errors & wrong parts, and any kind of unwanted words/noise while performing - of course respecting right timings and keeping a natural "flow"); - With the editing done, I do the mixing and the general improving of the audio (audio restoration & cleaning up to remoive extra noise & unwanted features), completing with the mastering to achieve a professional standard of quality and loudness. - With the completed product I proceed with the delivery to the client. I would provide you an high quality product respecting a standard loudness level, balance and in the required formats for publications. If there is any particular requirements or additional feature you need me to satisfy, please let me know. Hello HydroPhilly, I use Ableton suit, and I have Waves Plugin, I can master the track very well if you need. Sure I will add music in the background too. But my question is, should I put music from the charts or produce new ones? Also about bookmarks, are you going to provide with a file with time stamps too? Dear Sir/Madam, I would be delighted to work on your audiobook. I am a sound engineer with experience in voiceover and podcasting. I also have access to iZotope's RX6 audio repair software, which has enabled me to achieve excellent results even with audio recorded in non-professional studios. To work on this project, I would first remove background noise using iZotope RX6. I would then load the audio into Pro Tools and edit for mistakes, breaths etc. Once the edit is in good shape, I mix using a variety of tools such as de-essing, EQ and multi-band compression to achieve a smooth, loud vocal that is comfortable to listen to for extended periods. Once the mix is completed, I will add music, and then export each chapter as an individual file. I will deliver these either as lossless WAV files, or as 320 Kbps MP3, whichever you prefer. Hi!, My name is Luis Contreras!, I am an Audio Engineer with 17+ years of experience Composing, Recording and Mixing Music. I know pretty well the kind of task that have to be done with your recordings as I am always recording and cleaning dialogs for the documentaries on which I also compose the music. I am the kind of Audio Engineer that aims for the best results without compromising the overall quality of the raw material. From my experience is not that much about noise reduction most of the time, but to aim for the best "signal to noise ratio" whenever possible (of course at the end of the day it all depends on the nature of the material). But certainly I am always looking to have a good rhythm on my editing, a nice timbre with a natural compression on the dialog and some deessing if necessary. Of course, I always focus my approach according to my client's indication and expectations. So I fit pretty well when it comes to work as a team!
