Hi there I've been an editor for 10 years, but I was a teacher for many more years before. In that time, and as head of the English department, I was responsible for the literacy curriculum and worked hard to integrate a range of children's literature into classes. As someone who knows the importance of age-related language grading and young learner writing style, I often work with children's book authors.
