Hi,
Email blast for traffic sake isn't a good idea, email is better for a customer engagement strategy rather than attracting traffic. Even if you are able to get traffic and Google Analytics would reflect the footsteps, it will be having a higher bounce rate, and soon you will realize that it eventually has a negative impact on your overall site process. Plus, willing people who aren't your subscribers to take up the time and send a reply may take a lot of effort. The inboxes of the folks are swelled with marketing messages, and email is more strategy-based than any other marketing channel.
Just a suggestion as I walk through your project brief. If you are willing to bring some value to your email marketing efforts, I'm willing to discuss. Let me know your industry, business, and goals. Does the traffic matter or leads, conversion, sales in your case of the business? I am Ahmed and I’ve spent 7 years of my career in the deliverability industry, setting up infrastructure for high volume email delivery, working closely with the development teams during the development lifecycle of email marketing and automation applications, and completing a list of projects for high volume sending and optimization.
