We have a polymer foam that is partly permeable to a specific gas. We have established a permeability rate and maximum but we need to estimate how much gas is in a sample at the maximum.

Greetings As a work sample, I have Simulated Metal hydride hydrogen absorption. finite volume method with fully implicit central difference scheme was used. Since the reaction is complex, so a custom udf code was written. All the results were validated from experimental results and a research paper was also written. Grid independence test along with mesh refinement study was also conducted. For your problem. It would be Highly recommended to send at least one research paper at least, so as to validate already existing results before continuing to your simulation. Since the reactions are highly complex to simulate , So at least one validation is required to ensure accurate results and methodology. please refer to profile for more info.

I am a skilled engineer with more than adequate knowledge in various areas of chemical engineering. I need more information on the process to determine the approach to the solution of the problem and to determine the timeline and project tasks required for the work especially the research into solution methods. This might require process modeling and simulation in MATLAB and EXCEL as well. Please provide as much detail as you can on the exact process set-up, all physical and thermodynamic properties if the chemical cannot be disclosed and operating parameters for the solution to your task
