There is not that information about your project so let me tell you what i did in the past. Huge company in Turkey wants something similar to this. There are differences their projects and yours. They want fingerprint system and can be locked under 1000 kg pressure. So i made an automatic lock system for that purpose. Also i made for myself simple locking mechanism with solenoid motor(12v) to lock my important files in mechanical way. Even though i used 3D printed PLA filament, it still locks under 50kg pressure and still maintain its pressure to some extends. We can speak more if you want.
