Write a response of 500 words to either Miguel Street by V.S. Naipaul. It is essentially coming-of-age stories, charting the life of the young unnamed narrator in Miguel Street . In your own reflection, comment on your own coming of age while engaging with one of the texts. Consider this exercise a kind of “they say, I say” exercise. Approximately 50% of your reflection should engage with either Cliff’s or Naipaul’s text. The other 50% should engage with your own coming of age. In your response, consider similar themes, incidents, characters that are common to both sections of your response. Your response still needs some form of argument. How does your coming of age reflect on the narrator’s/Clare’s? What do you have in common? What is absolutely different? Despite being set in the Caribbean, are there any similarities between your stories? You still need to separate your paper into relevant paragraphs, and take punctuation, grammar, and argumentation into account.
Above is the rubric and I have written almost 300 words of my own coming of age experiences I just need to continue it and the rest needs to be more about the book. Also it needs to follow they say I say format. I need it in 3 hours.
