Research experiment

Dear Freelancer Thank you in advance for taking the time to consider your participation in this experiment. Your answers in this academic research experiment will help us better understand how to match the right people with a certain task. Therefore, your goal is to solve different crowdsourcing tasks and cognitive tests that evaluate your cognitive capabilities. Your responses, along with those from other participants, will be used only for scholarly purposes and will be kept completely confidential. Your effort in this experiment will be rewarded twofold: a) with a fixed sum of 40 USD+bonus and b) with Freelancer rating according to your performance as follows: - 5 stars if your performance is above 80% - 4 stars if your performance falls between 60 and 80% For example, if there are ten freelancers that conducted the experiment, the first and the second best will get 5 star ratings, while the freelancers with the third and fourth best performances will be rewarded with 4 stars. The same applies to the reward; all participants regardless with their performance will be paid 40 USD. Participants whose performance above 80% will be rewarded with bonus of 16 USD, and those whose performance between 60 and 80% will receive 8 USD bonus. Our research consists of three experiments, each one has 10 minutes break and should take approximately 80 minutes to complete. The links to experiments will be sent to you in three sequential days and can not be completed at once. You will receive the link to the next experiment only after completing the previous one. Note, the tasks are limited in time. However, the time set such that you have plenty of time to accomplish the tasks as long as you are not initiating breaks on your own. A ten-minute break in the middle of the exam will be given. In a case you nevertheless run out of the time, we will kindly ask you to repeat the task later. We highly recommend you use pen and paper during this experiment as it may be helpful. Thank you again for your time and participation.
