Mountain Bike Participant Database, incorpoarting race times and RFID data

I require an excel participant database using data retrieved from an external registration system (excel format), containing unique ID data (to be supplied). This data is to be easily searched on the excel 'homepage' to confirm riders when they arrive at the course on the day. When a rider arrives and gives the marshal some criteria (name, number etc), the information can be typed in and shown on screen. The marshal then scans a unique RFID bracelet using hardware that saves/appends the unique RFID code to a text file (notepad) that is imported into excel and saved to the rider for the days racing. This unique code will be used when collating the days results. The unique RFID code will change per rider per round. When the rider returns their bracelet, the bracelet is scanned and we can check that it has been returned. We can then search after the race is anyone is unaccounted for (or havent handed in their bracelet). There are 6 rounds in the 2015 season. Not all riders will participate in all rounds. Points are allocated for the position where the rider finishes each round. These overall points determine the riders overall category position. I will supply all rider data necessary. Its a case of preparing the database for use. I will supply the formatting of the RFID scan. Id prefer excel as I am an intermediate user, and cannot make modifications if required. It would also be great if it is easily transferable to google docs, as I would ultimately like to make a live version, where riders can search based on criteria. I have a docket printer that i have used to print the individual rider results of the day. Would be great if we can use the riders 'return scan' to automatically print out their results! Attached is a results table from a particular race last year. The associated excel document will be referenced when creating a user database for the 2015 season.
