Excel data sorting and data entry

OVERVIEW 1. This is not a complex job. It is easy sorting and some data entry. 2. We will run the project over at least four stages. Please provide your price for ALL four stages. We will create milestones for each stage. 3. Our client needs their household budget prepared. They want 12 months of data sorted and given a description (such as Fast Food, Doctor, Supermarket etc). 4. We will provide you with an Exel spreadhsheet containing each month's data. Note that there are fewer than 100 rows and only four columns per sheet. See uploaded file as an example. STAGE ONE Combine all 12 months into the spreadsheet named Master (there are fewer than 100 rows and only four columns per sheet). Sort by column D. Then delete any rows without data in column D. This then becomes your "Reference"for future work. STAGE TWO Start with August and work through to July (12 files in total). Within each row, you need to enter a description in column D. To work out the description, you can search in the REFERENCE file you created in Stage One. If you are unsure what to put in column D, type in Unsure and highlight that row with yellow highlight. If you guess something, for instance a Doctor, highlight that row in yellow. STAGE THREE Sort each month by description (row D). Then in row E, add up the total for all items within that description and enter the total against the first entry. STAGE FOUR Our client will need further work prepared for their credit cards and other financial transactions.
