Excel VBA code

I want an Excel VBA Code/ macro that will count all the active rows in a specific column within a number of closed workbooks (Sheet1) & text files (i.e. txt & csv). The file path will be as followed “C:\TestFolder”. This file path contains over 100 spreadsheets & text files so the code/ macro must be able to loop through each file. The macro/ code must be able to open up each file in the background & close the files automatically. The Macro must be able to loop through each file (data is kept in sheet1 for workbooks) and count the total number of active rows in a specific column (for example column A, B or C) & it must be able to print this value within a separate workbook ‘zMasterworkbook’. The code or macro must also be compatible with older versions of excel. The separate workbook ‘zMasterworkbook’ must contain and meet the following requirements: 1. Column A2- should have the ‘File Name’ field (file name of each file) 2. Column B2- should have ‘Total number of Active Rows” filed (total number of active rows for a specific column in each file).
