I need a fundraising expert who can work with local community businesses, organizations, etc.

I'm brand new to Freelancer and your post is the second posting I've seen. Not weird except that I'm at Lawrence and Paulina - I literally walked past Rosehill about six hours ago. There are a few ways to do some short term fundraising - events and grants come to mind but the time deadline for this is really, really soon and I wouldn't promise anything without more information. . I'd love to get some details about your organization (name, non profit status (are you a 501c3?), previous events/efforts). For a coffee* and scone, I can brainstorm (I think you can message me on Freelancer). For $250 I can coordinate an event and for $600 I can put a grant together but I wouldn't want to accept the gig if I didn't think I could get results. * I would submit a list of acceptable Ravenswood/Andersonville coffee shops.
