I always designed manually as a hobby and in the last year I am working as a designer of projects for laser cutting and subsequent assembly of products in MDF and acrylic from 3 to 9 mm. The designs are usually for handicrafts and for decorative purposes, but whoever is in this market knows that the possibilities are very great and that the equipments that make these types of products have ample potential. Knowing the market and this work I know that the machine spends 5 short minutes to cut a file that to be elaborated demands about hours for those who do not have experience or ability, and the activity of doing a project of all the parts in 2d that should be perfectly fit can present challenges. My intention here is to find a way to maintain direct contact with small entrepreneurs with their laser cutting machines who need custom or elaborate designs that would take an excessive amount of time from their workforce.
