We have a table-top team/leadership simulation game of climbing Mt Everest. This is designed for extracting adult learning outcomes, and led in a workshop style by a single (usually) qualified facilitator. The half day simulation involves groups/teams operating according to resource constraints, facilitator-driven scenarios that challenge them from a decision-making or negotiation basis perspective as they make their way to the summit of Mt Everest. Uncertainty of success is provided by regular draws of 'chance' cards and gains and losses of resources are a given. A special set of conditions apply as team announce (having accumulated sufficient resources on their journey) a summit bid. The facilitator; upon ending the expeditionary phase of the session then moves to the debrief based on his/her observations of the partcipants' collective behaviours, teachable moments during the simulations and so on. You may have a look at more information on http://www.EverestChallenger.com., and [login to view URL]
The simulation is played on a proprietary PVC game map, and includes many playing cards representing units of resources; as well as separate decks of cards representing elements of chance ( both good and bad) on the mountain climb. Movements are determined by special die rolls et al. Graphics in AI and PDF are available for developers. My intention is to consider turning this team and leadership simulation into a computerised, or web based version in order to eliminate the need for the current physical components of the game, as well as explore the possibility of delivering this to much larger groups in a single session from their laptops and/or handheld devices
Shortlisted candidates will likely have a conference call prior to a final selection made in which they may have to provide a link to online games of a similar nature they have developed or discuss appropriate ways for us to reach a desired outcome. Milestone payments are welcome but final payment (50%) will be held until successful completion of project.
Before you respond, please go to those two links I posted and familiarise yourself with the look and feel of the game/simulation. If you arent asking questions that tell me you have actualy spent some time exploring the product, or offering a Zoom call set of convenient dates you are unlikely to be considered - thanks
Hey there!
My name is Sam and I'm a canadian developer!

I checked your site and game which look great! I would love to see the graphics made for developers, and also we can set a call whenever you want!
Let's talk in private!
I have one important question, is the game going to be played online multiplayer or is it on a single web page?
so far i still dont understand how the game works, is there anyway for me to check the game and its gameplay and rules etc...
i have more than 300 games in my portfolio, i'd be glad to show it to you in chat

Hi. My name is Federico, I'm a software engineer and a developer at Mimic, an indie game studio from Mendoza, Argentina.
You can see some of our previous work in our portfolio here.
We have been working on Unity for more than 5 years, mostly on 2d games.
At the time we're very interested in tabletop games. Unity is the perfect tool to enable the posibility of deploying the game to many platforms, but we would start designing for web only.
This job would take us 2-3 months, 1 for the graphic designer and 2-3 for the programmers.
There are 2 main questions for this project:
1- is the facilitator going to have his own UI?
2- will there be any kind of communication between the players? like a chat system?
I'd like to know more of your project. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.
