Hi, I need a novel written. The book will be somewhere along the lines of a Dan Brown DaVinci code. I had posted a job a few weeks ago with the same title and received some offers. I did not award the project because I'm a little skeptical as to the quality of work I will receive. Not only that, there is a lot involved in this project and I would like to have some input into how and what is being written and I'm not sure as to how this service works... Emails, Phone? Do I have to fly to where you are or vice versa? I have made some recent "discoveries" in the world of Leonardo and his writings and artwork that I believe will greatly help propel the Marketing and promotions as well as the plot and story line of this novel. This project is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you as well as myself and I want it be top notch. I am not only looking for a writer, I am looking for a partner. What I have is incredible and to tell you the truth, I can write but... I NEED HELP! lol, but seriously I do. The story will include, but will not be limited too, Ancient Astronaut theory, Scientology, Enlightenment, Illuminati, The Military etc... This thing has a million directions to go in. I need someone I can throw Ideas at and someone who's not afraid to throw Ideas back. In the end, I'm not a selfish person and I'd be willing to give credit if it is deserved. This project needs to be your number 1 priority and you need to be ready to put in the work to turn it into a best seller with the possibility of motion picture adaptation. In the end, I'm not made of money but am willing to pay, but if the salary you will receive here on freelancer is all you're looking for...please do not apply. Think six to seven figure advance and being cut in. The writer should be a master of suspense, intrigue, subliminal humor and drama. There was an episode of Ancient aliens dedicated to DaVinci. That would be something for you to check out to give you an Idea of what I mean when I speak of, "Illumination"... I have written my own 13-book 5.2 million word Fantasy/SF epic, another 5-book 1.3 million word cyberpunk-horror series, and am currently working with another on a steampunk-ish inspired series that looks like it willbe topping out at 7 books. I have written a series that juggles hundreds of characters, dozens of plot lines, and invented entire worlds in excrutiating detail. Perhaps my talent for detail is helped along by my MS in physics, not to mention my imagination. Helpful ideas? Yeah I get plenty of them. A number of my own novels are about to be getting some fresh PR (long story) at the start of next year, at which point my time will dwindle and I will get more selective with some of my other gigs. For now though I need the money though I'd prefer it to come from working on ore interesting projects such as your own. As far as contact, I can work via email, Skype, or phone (I get freelong distance for anywhere in the U.S. or Canada), and have fast enough internet to easilysend larghe files back and forth. The profit sharing thing sounds good but for now I do need to get at least something from this for my time (and to keep certain debtors apeased (another long story). Hi, Sounds like you're looking for an experienced novelist and fiction writer to collaborate with. Your concerns with quality are well founded, though there may be many published novelists here. I don't think you'll want to work with anybody that hasn't published a novel. I kinda doubt you will find an experienced high quality fiction writer willing to collaborate on a novel for $1500, though you will find some that are willing to work for a lower rate in return for a piece of whatever publishing/rights deal is put together. Many writers on this site are working for less than US minimum wage. I could be wrong - you might find a great fiction writer on this site willing to work for $1500. I hope you do. Another approach might be to find a midlist author (not a bestselling author) that has published a novel or two in the suspense genre - there are millions of Dan Brown wannabes out there. Read their work, (many of the eBooks are free) and if you like it, reach out to them with your proposal. They're easy to find on Google. Goodreads is also a good place to find fiction writers.
