Urgently Required: Web Designer If you have a creative mind and the required technical knowledge of web-site designing, then we must be looking for YOU! The purpose of the position is to plan and create an attractive web design layout as per the company requirement and execute ways for the web site’s gradual improvement along with continued maintenance. The primary responsibilities are however the following: - Understand the company’s view in setting up the website and deliver plans accordingly. - Explain the required website specifications and arrange for necessary infrastructure i.e. booking a domain name, bandwidth requirement etc. - Provide creative thoughts on the web layout; develop site contents in liaison with the in-house team members. - Work closely with the in-house graphic designers and photographers in designing the website for website enhancement matters, i.e. photographs, audio-visual contents etc. - Outline the site’s content management system in a simplified manner and ensure the website’s ranking with effective SEO (Search Engine Optimization) process. - Submit the finished website for approval and once approved, take arrangements to launch the site and make it LIVE online. - Handle the website security matters, protecting the site contents under copyright rules and various anti-virus programs to keep it safe from potential hackers and bugs. - Check on the server; ensure constant web site run-time and traffic. - Identify ways to improve the overall site performance, creating a visual identity for the company. - Need to upload regular updates on the website, attend to troubleshooting, and follow-up on routine maintenance schedule. - Must adhere to the project timeline. - Other related duties as and when required. What we require? - Diploma or extensive training on Web Designing tools and programs. - Must have experience on Dreamweaver or PHP. - Creative mind and pro-active approach. - Excellent time management skills. - Customer oriented and able to follow directions. - Needs to be a team-player. - Adhere to the office non-disclosure policy. What we offer: The initial assignments will be pay based or under project contract. But once the website is launched, the positions will switch to hourly contract forroutine website maintenance jobs.
