Hi, I need a market place style website designed and built. The site should include a marketplace section named "discover" and a curated section as the main part of the site. The idea of the site is to create a market place in which artists can register for free and create an account with the site to sell their art, at which point the site will deduct a commission from the artist per sale. The website should include the following- -The ability for a an artist to create an account -A system that deducts the commission of the artwork before automatically releasing funds to an artist. - a news and updates page- that functions like a blog, streaming information. - a databasing system that collates information from purchasers, sellers and inquirers. - a functional browse and search page for users to easily view and access artworks. - Search functions should allow to search by user account/profile, art pieces, newest, price and category -the home page should feature a live streaming box with information from the news and updates page with a click through function taking the user to the article being streamed. - the home page should feature sections that allow for direct click throughs to sales mediums by collection or curation. - homepage should feature links to social media and subscribe to newsletter (with automated function adding them to database - On an artist profile there should be an option to commission an artist to complete a work- this should include price etc and have a function that allows the site to hold the funds (minus sales commission) not to be released to the artist until the work has been completed and the purchaser has notified via email link that they are satisfied. Overall the site should have a clean feel and be extremely easy to navigate for both purchasers and account holders. This is the basic bones of what the site will need, obviously there is a lot more to explain as to how each step will need to appear, especially relating to the step by step use of creating an account with the site as well as each step of making a purchase. im not sure as to how to fill out the budget section of this advert as i have had multiple quotes direct from graphic design firms as well as private web developers. Hello, An e-commerce site where art works by artists are sold and artists gets paid with a part of payment goes to the site as commission when a purchase is made by customer. Queries: 1. Is it to be built from scratch or some designs/template are available? 2. In which platform, you want this site to be built, like a-> In core php b-> php based framework like codeigniter c-> e-commerce cms like zencart etc? 3. The site would contain 5 pages namely Home, Discover, Curated , News & Updates, Search. 4. Home page would consists of 4.1 -> a live streaming box which would contain links. These links on being clicked would go to News And Update page and show the full content. From where will these links would come from? 4.2 -> Social media links - links to facebook, twitter pages related to the site, Will there be facebook login? 4.3 - the home page should feature sections that allow for direct click throughs to sales mediums by collection or curation. Will the home page feature art works with option to purchase by customer? How a customer will buy? Is it a single artwork or some quantity of artwork by a single artist by a collection? 4.4 Will the home page contain category or subcategory? 4.5 How many product will be displayed in home page? 5. Hello, Just read the whole description and I find your thoughts very clear about what you want, but unsure about the budget it could take. I see you need a clean and simple website but at the same time it should be beautiful enough to increase the beauty of artworks which will be uploaded by artists. We are very clear with the integrations you asked for, and I believe this will not be much hectic tasks as we have previously done this. Coming towards queries: YES, I do have few questions to ask because it is really difficult to quote you an exact price without the answers. We generally work on an hourly rate of $10/hour but we can reconsider the price if the project is good. And we will even provide and exact budget once we are clear with the "Queries" I have.
