Excess Food Network Inc.

Hi, my name is Christine and I am 1 of 3 that make up the Board Members for a new Non-Profit organization. The organization is called Excess Food Network, Inc. and is a start-up non-profit organization. (Inc. in the name does not necessarily need to be included in the logo)We would like a logo that easily identifies who and what our organization does. One of the taglines we have come up with is 'Building Trust Delivering Hope' This does not necessarily have to be included in the logo. We want to keep it as simple as possible for business cards and marketing materials. The organization picks up food from grocery retailers and restaurants and delivers to organizations in need. We would like you to create a logo that represents this concept. Of course, with this being a non-profit organization we would greatly appreciate any assistance with limited cost on this project and can provide our info for any portion of savings as a tax deduction for your work. Of course, we acknowledge your time and creative talent is valuable and know there is value for your services. One of the board members came up with one very rough concept of what we would like it to include but are not tied to it. We also would prefer the logo to not include the color blue, as this is not a color that is correlated with food. The idea was a shield with a border that has the name of the organization with plate and fork and knife. also, the name or fork, spoon, and knife can be the shield border with a plate and name in middle. I personally think this would be very difficult to print especially in a small version, but if something could be done with this concept and it remain very simple that would be great. We want to see other ideas as well, as you all have the creative minds. We are really looking forward to seeing what you do!
