Hire a Website Designer

We are looking for a website designer who can design the front end interface of our website i.e. the public facing website. We need a creative visionary, with the technical ability to match. As a professional web designer, you will provide our developers with basic HTML5 code, once the designs are complete and approved. To keep the project on track we will require the HTML5 code provided as each page is approved. The successful candidate will have outstanding abilities in both design and technical experience. You will work closely with myself (the business owner) and have my undivided attention until this project is finished. Our website is developed and is simply waiting for the front end design and integration. Our web developers have an outstanding project manager for you to liaise with, if required. You will need to be able to communicate fluently in English. As a website design professional you will have an outstanding ability to make the complicated look simple. You will have a deep understanding of how clients use websites, and the ability to capitalise on this to create an unparalleled user experience. The visual hierarchy should be a vital facet of every page and guide the user to interactive and navigable elements with clues and attention grabbers. The experience for our users should be seamless and easy to navigate. The content, layout and interaction for our user must be outstanding and maximise conversions via minimalist design, and a less is more approach. The call to actions should be emphasised throughout the website, everything should lead to users in a sensible, ordered and obvious way. The flow of the website should make sense to users effortlessly. The website should be visually appealing and inviting for our clients to interact with while utilising industry best practice. Technical aspects such as mobile responsiveness, load time, integration with APIs, social media integration, mouse-overs, user clicks, SEO considerations are also crucial. All designs must be fully responsive, our website must look and function equally well across all devices including Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices and Tablets. Additionally, cross-browser compatibility is fundamental. We are not familiar with the website design process and will need ongoing consultation, collaboration, creative insights and support to bring this project to life. We will happily supply any assets required to complete the project, once we are made aware of your requirements of us. There are approximately 100-120 hours in design work for this project, 20 pages total. We anticipate a 4-6 week timeframe for delivery. We need experienced WEBSITE DESIGNERS only, not graphic designers who dabble in web design. You must have a sizeable portfolio to share. The website is being constructed using Cake PHP 4.0, however, our developers only require basic HTML5. Do not apply if you cannot provide basic HTML5 as you will not be considered. All images on the website should be provided in HTML, not CSS, for scalability. I have attached our website design outline to this job post for your persual. You will need to be able to commence work immediately and have the time to dedicate full-time to this project as we are already running behind schedule. You will need to produce quality work quickly, as professionals do. We are a dog training business that sells courses, private consultations and seminars/events, therefore, scheduling is an integral part of our business, and is integral to the design of our website. We have plans to continue developing this project for some time yet, in addition to mobile Apps. We will also create different landing pages, etc. as we expand this project in line with our objectives. We will own the website and all its contents, and plan to distribute it for sale in our industry all over the world, once it is finished - so there will be ongoing work for the right candidate in re-skinning the website for other similar businesses.
