Illustrate a Children's Picture Book

I'm working on a few picture books with an award-winning author at the moment. I'm wanting to get bids for a project called Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. If you don't know who these characters are, they are from the Alice in Wonderland world. I don't have a huge budget for this project. I really like Maurice Sendak's style with the pen and ink. The original characters were also drawn in pen and ink. I'll attach a few files showing them in different ways. I'm hoping to find an illustrator that can come up with something new and cool for it. If you don't do pen and ink, I'm open to anything. Here are a few "musts" -it must be digital -I maintain all rights to the illustrations for the book and promotional materials and you receive 100 percent credit for the illustrations, as well as pay from Freelancer. You will sign a contract. - you may be able to use digital assets on various pages, making the workflow much faster and easier. -afterward, you may use the illustrations, my book images to promote your own work, but can not sell them. If you have read this far, and still would like to collaborate on this project, please give me a bid, and if you can sketch out what you think the characters could look like. Keep in mind, they need to look pretty well the same with subtle personality differences. Again, I like Maurice Sendak, but am open to any others. I originally was going to sketch them myself on a white background, but I wanted to see what anyone else could do. Thanks
