Hello there! I have an existing .STL file that I need separated into 3 smaller parts. We are doing this so that we can get our project printed on a wider variety of 3D Printers, as our current 3D file does not facilitate easy printing. We will need the smaller parts to be able to be assembled after printing. This means we will need groove marks (Registration Keys) on each of the parts so that we can align the parts together afterward and bond them together with adhesives. If you have any further questions please reach out to us! This should not be a hard project. I imagine a skilled 3D Designer would be able to complete this task in under two hours.
