Launceston Drive Park Fly website ([login to view URL]) has been operating successfully now for about 12 months. The website was developed by myself with assistance from Romex Australia (car park equipment supplier) to integrate with the car park management system, and some additions by Free-Lancers. The current website is based on Wordpress and WooCommerce. I have put together the following summary scope for improvement based on customer feedback. The following tasks are proposed: 1. General review of the website to recommend actions affecting website speed and usability. Owner to be provided with a costed list as part of the quotation process for this scope. 2. Minimisation of the number of plugins used where possible. There are currently 52 plugins! 3. Building a new online booking system as follows: a. The online booking system to retain all the key features of the existing system. b. To be simpler and easier for customers to make a booking. c. Need to be able to transfer customer data into the new system. I am happy to do this myself provided there is a user friendly way of doing it. d. I particularly like the Ace Airport Parking [login to view URL] - including a quote/booking option on the home page, being able to add extras (such as car washing to your booking), etc. e. This shall include a new feature – customers being able to modify their own booking. f. Needs to integrate with Romex car park management system. Currently there are web hooks to pull data into the Romex car park management system. Liaising with Romex will be required. g. Reduce ongoing costs associated with plugin renewals, any ongoing fees to service providers, etc. h. Can be managed by myself post development. i. Needs to be accessed by PC, tablet and phone and work well in all these formats. 4. A mobile app is to be developed (ios, android and windows) for the online booking system. I am a sophisticated but time poor user and able to assist with the web development. Look forward to your quotations.
