Hi I have solid experience in ASP.NET MVC. Regarding your question. If we speak specifically about CSHTML files - unless you use 'views pre-compilation' it should be no problem just updating the file. IIS server will automatically compile the modified files. However, ideally you need to restart the site in IIS after doing the changes.
